Welcome to 'An Educator's Guide to Being Human', a resource for current, future, and retired professionals within the educational field who need to recalibrate, reflect, and reinforce their passion and transformative knowledge, energy, and overall joy. The mission is to empower educators to transform lives by providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed. I believe that education is the key to a better world, and I am committed to supporting educators in their important work.

Did you like that? I kept it because that's what was predesigned for this section. It makes me sound professional without having to think of something professional or profound for a moment. I do believe in that, though, so that's why I kept it!

If you are still reading to this point, let me introduce and explain "myself". My name is Hue, Hue Mann. I created this blog (but it was first intended as a book) to get some of my reflections out there on paper. I needed an outlet for the stress, the defeat, and the frustration that I felt as an educator throughout a day or week. If you're an educator, you get me. If you are not, then check out some of my blog posts and become familiar with our kind. My purpose is to connect. I want to connect honestly and authentically, but within our field, that comes with many risks. Hence, Hue is born. Hue's purpose is to voice my perspective and experience, and hopefully someday yours, so that we need not worry about consequences or repercussions for venting our truth. Hue may not be "real", but he is as real as I (and we) need him to be as we navigate the minds of educators who are just trying to be...human beings.
